How do you handle a really, really ,really bad boss? I know lots of people go through their work days resenting their boss’ but I think if you ever met mine you would kiss yours. I have never worked for someone who calls employees names and tells them to repeat after me , “I am dumb I don’t know what I am doing.”  He always threatens their jobs and says ” It’s tough out there alot of people want your job and will work for less then you do.” This man has ( Not by me) been reported to HR and others and still gets by and even gets MORE perks. Such as being able to fire 5 experienced employees and replace them with his family members. This really hurts the morale around work. When a complaint was recently filed he told all of us in a conference call that everytime someone called the HR it was bothering the HR personnel because they don’t have time for small talk. Then we are told by another higher up that yes he is a little rough but he gets the good results. This is real depressing for me. I can barely stand going to work. I have managed for several years and never would I dream of mis-treating people. I really don’t understand why he continually  gets  no reprimand for swearing at people and telling them how stupid they are. Any advice? Any perspective you can share?
